RESOLUTION 2026-02
LEGAL NOTICES
WHEREAS, Towns are not required to designate an official newspaper. WI Statute Chapter 985.05(01) & 985.02(2).
WHEREAS, the Indianhead Advertiser is now a qualified legal newspaper;
WHEREAS, the Indianhead Advertiser reaches a larger population than the Inter-County Leader.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town of Bone Lake will not declare an official newspaper.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town of Bone Lake will use the Indianhead Advertiser for all legal notices that are required by state statute to be published in the newspaper.
