Tamara Delany (Griffin), age 61, of Luck, Wisconsin, passed into an eternal life with the Lord on Sept. 20, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Pamela Griffin; and her husband, James Delany.
She will be missed by many. She is survived by her daughter, McKenna; and her son, Michael (Alethea). She will also be missed by her father, Jim Griffin (Roxanne); and her siblings, sister, Constance Ohlsen (Chris); and brother, Dave Griffin (Lisa). Her grandson, Rupert Delany, was her greatest joy.
Tamara lived out her life and faith in Christ through her heart for others. Whether it was a child learning at school, an animal in need of care, or a friend in need of support, she gave without a thought. Her love for learning brought joy to her job as a mother and a teacher. Her hobbies enriched her life and those around her. Tamara loved baking bread and cooking different creations, sharing them with others even more so.
Tamara’s faith in Jesus filled and covered every area of her life. Her joy in Christ bringing peace and assurance throughout her time on earth. Tamara lived her life by Christ’s direction, to love first.
She will be missed by family, friends, and all that had the privilege of knowing her and felt the impact of her life and love.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Oct. 11 at Hope Community Church in Cumberland, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m., and the service will be from 2-3 p.m. A meal will not be provided but snacks will be available.
