Victoria Lee “Vickie” Heck McKinnon, 70, passed away peacefully March 5, 2024, holding her only son Josh's hand while in comfort care. She was born Sept. 14, 1953, in St. Paul, Minnesota.
She spent the last 1-1/2 years at Frederic Nursing and Rehabilitation, where she made many friends and enjoyed playing Bingo and doing crafts. She also enjoyed seeing friends and family, especially her friends Sue, Dee and best friend for over 60 years, Nancy, along with many others she had met along the way. She enjoyed outings with family and friends, especially going to the meat raffle. She will be missed but never forgotten, and we will cherish the happy memories.
Vickie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sonny; mother, Lorrain; father, Harland; sister, Harlene; brothers, Tommy, Steve and David; and only grandson, Codyman.
She is survived by daughters, Ronnie, Harlene and Crystal; son, Josh; brothers, Mike, Randy and Dennis; grandchildren, Josie, Jess, Jayde, Cori, Mark and Ilishia; great-grandchildren, Kodi-Lee, Ashton, Zorah, Dante, Orion, Mya, Sue-Rina, Laeloni, Ne'Vaeh and two more on the way; and nieces, nephews and many family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 27, 2024, at noon, at Jeff's Blacksmith Shop, 1879 W. Bone Lake Drive, Balsam Lake, WI 54810.
Following the celebration of Vickie's life, Harlene will be hosting the meat raffle that starts at 3 p.m. in her honor.
