Timothy E. Pederson, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026, at his home in rural Siren, Wisconsin.
Tim was born April 12, 1957, to Clarence and Ethel (Erickson) Pederson in Ada, Minnesota. He graduated from Frederic High school in 1975, where he played baseball, football, and hockey. After graduating from high school, Tim went to Stevens Point, Wisconsin, to pursue further education and work. Later, he moved his young family to his childhood farm near Lewis, Wisconsin, and reconnected with his community. In 1986, he fell in love with and married Jan Wilson.
Tim was a loving and gentle father and husband. He was the primary example of what “goodness” and “integrity” mean. He loved spending time with his friends at the softball field, playing for “The Mean Green” at Moline Field. He bowled with the 300 Club league for decades and was a longtime member of the Frederic Golf Course. He loved bowling and golf through his last days.
Tim was also a family man, and found true peace being at home with his loved ones, eating good food, watching the Packers win, and petting the dogs.
Tim retired in 2012 after 25 years of dedicated work at Bernick’s Pepsi, after receiving a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis at only 53 years old. His retirement allowed him to pour himself into all other aspects of his world; giving him more time with family and friends, and baking delicious pies.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, and brother-in-law.
Tim is survived by his wife, Jan; his children, Jesse (Tammy) Pederson, Sarah Pederson, and Kelli (Carl) Eklof; his grandchildren, Brandt, Ryan, Kylie, Briac (Lauren), Trenton, Erik (Audrey), and Ellie; great-grandchildren, Raelynn and Terence; his siblings, David (Trudy) Pederson, Esther Bjorkman, Philip (Kathy) Pederson, Ruth (Bruce) Thorstad, Sam Pederson, and Miriam (Jack) JuVette; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of Tim’s life will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at the Frederic Golf Course.
