Ruth Larsen, 83, passed away on Feb. 24, 2024.
She was born on Oct. 27, 1940, to Miles and RoseZella (Wells) Gibson in Star Prairie, Wisconsin. She lived in that area for all of her childhood.
Ruth met Donald and they got married when she was 16. They were married for 60 years when he passed. They had seven children. Ruth was also involved in 4-H along with her husband and children. She worked at St. Croix Casino Hotel in the housekeeping department and at Walmart in St. Croix Falls.
Ruth is survived by children, Debra (Elmer), Doug (Debbie), Dennis (Amy) and Derald; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and many more, including friends.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; grandson, Jimmy; daughters, Donette, Darla and Diane; and many other family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Ruth on July 21, 2024, from 1-4 p.m., at River Island Park in Star Prairie, Wisconsin.
