Nick Ricci, 93, of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, passed away on April 14, 2026. Nick was born in Cumberland, Wisconsin, on July 18, 1932, to Patricia (Manello) and Nick Ricci. He attended Cumberland High School in Cumberland, where he played sports and lettered in football and basketball. He was the president of his senior class.
Nick married the love of his life, Beverly Crawford, nearly 75 years ago on June 3, 1951, and together they had five children. Prior to retiring in Rice Lake, Nick was a self-employed businessman owning stores in Dresser, Centuria, Shell Lake, Webster and Luck, Wisconsin.
Nick loved traveling with Bev through the southern states of the U.S. and eventually wintered in Florida for almost 10 years. Some of his favorite hobbies included fishing, horseshoe, bike riding, playing cards and cribbage, watching sports on TV, and reading. He was much loved by so many.
Nick is survived by his wife, Beverly; his five children, Vicky (Steve) Rousselow, Nick S. Ricci, Ted (Laura Lee) Ricci, Cori (Kent “KP” Paulson), and Lisa (Brad) Esler; along with 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. Nick was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Patricia Ricci; sisters, Doris Chartraw, Jean Towne, Laura Ficocello, and Helen Skinner; and brothers, Albert and Thomas Ricci.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Skinner Funeral Home in Cumberland, on April 25, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., with a tribute and stories at 11 a.m., followed by refreshments.
