Marlette Zuech, age 88, of New Hope, Minnesota, passed away July 21, 2024. Preceded by parents, Virgil & Bessie (Bishop) McPheeters; brothers, Roy & Bruce; sister, Betty; and husband, Ralph Zuech. Born Jan. 17, 1936, in Hopkins Village, Hennepin County, Minnesota, she graduated Hopkins High 1954, enlisted in the Air Force for a few years, then left to help family and worked in office administration. She married Ralph Zuech Aug. 12, 1960, and welcomed a baby boy, Carl Lee Zuech, Feb. 8, 1963. A traveling military wife until 1970, she returned to Anoka and Minnetonka, Minnesota before retiring to Siren, Wisconsin in 1990. Marlette enjoyed feeding and watching wildlife, extended family and friends. She loved exhorting people and was a woman of fervent prayer! Since 2019, she lived with her son Carl and his wife Annette in New Hope, Minnesota. She was very loved & cared for until her peaceful passing at North Memorial Medical Center. Now in eternity with her Lord, she will be greatly missed by Carl & Annette Zuech, assorted nieces, nephews, and friends. She will be laid to rest at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Crystal, Minnesota.
