Luck FFA Alumni’s rescheduled Tractor and Truck Pull packs Luck Industrial Park

LUCK – The Luck FFA Alumni’s annual Tractor and Truck Pull, postponed from September due to wet weather, roared to life Saturday. Around 120 entrants revved engines across a slate of stock, improved and open classes. Warm, sunny skies and breezy conditions kicked up dust on the track. The event was originally scheduled for Sept. 20 but was shifted to Oct. 4 to avoid a soggy track. The long-awaited fundraiser at Luck Industrial Park drew crowds for its mix of farm stock tractors, ranging from 3,500 to unlimited pounds. Improved tractor classes included up to 12,500 pounds. Truck categories featured stock gas at 5,700 and 6,200 pounds, improved diesel at 8,500 pounds, and open diesel pulls. Proceeds, including sales of limited Wisconsin FFA Alumni raffle tickets with a $10,000 top prize drawn in February, will bolster FFA scholarships, chapter programs and agricultural education initiatives. Organizers reported raising approximately $3,000 in the past from participant contributions and sponsor donations. They credited the reschedule for turning a potential washout into a full day of pulls under ideal, if dusty, conditions. Crews added water to keep things rolling.
