Kimm McLeod-Boehme was born on March 11, 1968. She was welcomed by her adoptive parents, Robert and Fran McLeod, a week later. She was baptized and confirmed at Fristad Lutheran Church in Centuria, Wisconsin.
In 1986, she graduated from Unity High School and went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, where she played flute in the college band. Later, she used her musical talent while playing in a praise band at her church. More recently, she attended classes at New Richmond WITC.
Kimm enjoyed family gatherings and celebrations. She remembered special days with cards, gift and calls. When she was four years old, her brother, Steven, joined the family unit. They had a love of camping and fishing and spent family time together at northern Wisconsin campgrounds. Kimm had a variety of job experiences, loved movies, books, TV, garage sales, and family celebrations.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert McLeod, in 2003; and is survived by her mother, Fran McLeod; her brother, Steve; niece, Alexis; nephew, Brant; and special friend, Donn. Also, a host of friends and other relatives will remember her and all of our times together.
