Kenneth Charles Anderson, 71 of Danbury, Wisconsin, passed away at his home with his wife, stepsons and friend by his side on July 9, 2024.
Ken was born October 22, 1952 to Charles and Joan Anderson. He graduated from Webster High School and lived in Danbury all his life. Ken has had a love for working in the dirt since he was knee high. He worked with his dad and his brother throughout his school years. He started the Anderson Trucking business after graduation. A few years later he joined Operating Engineers Local 139. He worked all over Wisconsin and northern Minnesota. After retirement he and his wife Deb bought a house in Alabama, where they spent their winters.
Throughout Ken’s life he had many, many medical challenges, and hit them head on. In spite of them he always kept a positive attitude, never questioning, why me? He was jovial and full of spice and vinegar. Those that knew him probably had a prank or two pulled on them by Ken.
He is survived by his wife Debra; stepsons, Matthew Holter (Mikaela) and Bryan Holter (Samantha); granddaughter, Cassidy Buchanan; sister-in-law, Joanne Anderson; niece, Carrie (Louie Moen); great-nephew, Brandon Moen; and great-great-nephew, Henry Moen.
Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Joan Anderson; sister, Linnea Estridge; brother, Ricky Anderson; and grandparents.
His Celebration of Life will be July 20, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Northland Communty Center, Danbury, Wisconsin.
