John Leland Mishler, 85, of Siren, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota. John was born on Sept. 21, 1941, in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, the son of Lester and Fern Mishler.
John married Donna Hansen at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Frederic, Wisconsin, in June of 1968.
He is survived by his wife, Donna, of Siren; his son, Robert Mishler, of Bay City, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Johnny and Lillian Mishler-Amblang; sisters, Charlotte Dolittle and Gail McKenzie; his brother, Vernon (Lois) Mishler; many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Fern; son, Steven Mishler; and siblings, Marvin, Harland and Virginia.
The funeral service for John will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 1 p.m., at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 2, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and then again one hour prior to the funeral. Pastor Angie Kutney will officiate the service. John will be laid to rest at the Wolf Creek Cemetery in Eureka Township, Polk County, Wisconsin.
The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
