Posted

Jeffrey Micael Wylie was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, on Nov. 13, 1955, to Norman Sr. and Ramona Wylie. He was an active and rambunctious child and remained so for all his life. Jeff attended multiple schools in the area, eventually earning his HSED and tutored others. He loved wrestling, hunting, fishing and cars. At a young age, he found a passion for motorcycling and owned many over the course of his life. He loved Harley Davidsons and Honda 750s, which he claimed were bulletproof.

In the mid-1970s, Jeff joined the National Guard and was discharged honorably. He married Romona Smith in 1976 and their daughter, Jessica, was born July 1, 1976. Jessy was the light of his life and they loved each other deeply. Following a divorce from Romona, Jeff married two more times, each ending in divorce. For some decades, Jeff was the partner of Daena Shortess and raised her son, Anthony T. Wall, as his own. He taught him many things and ultimately sought to inspire and guide his many grandchildren. He held many jobs in farming, factories, casinos and grocery stores.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Ramona Nichols; daughter, Jessica Wylie-Buford; son, Anthony T. Wall; partner, Daena M. Shortess. His grandchildren include Monet Buford, Luella Taylor, Anthony J. Hanson-Wall, MaKayla Hanson-Wall, Isaiah Wall, Trinity Wall and Hunter Nichols-Wall. Also left to mourn, are siblings Norman Wylie Jr., Becky Prewitt (James), and Tina Davis; and step-siblings. Many special relatives and friends will also continue to celebrate his memory and love. Close relatives also include Laura Evans, Evie Dexter Wylie, Kurt Dunemann, Jenna Wylie, and great-granddaughters, Ellianna and Briella.

Jeff was preceded in death by father, Norman Wylie Sr.; brothers, Mark Wylie and Robert Wylie; nephew Erik Kremer; and many other beloved family and friends.
