Jacqueline Lou Bergin, “Jackie,” age 74, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Feb. 9, 2026, at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, Minnesota. She was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend.
Jackie was born Jan. 24, 1952, in Grantsburg, Wisconsin, to John and Mildred (Erickson) Bergin. She was a 1970 graduate of Johnson High School in St. Paul, Minnesota. She went on to work many years at the Hospital Linen in St. Paul. Outside of work, Jackie enjoyed reading, listening to music, watching QVC and HSN, bowling, and talking on the phone to her Aunt Harriet, lots of friends, and her neighbors.
Jackie radiated kindness, strength, and grace. She carried these qualities with her throughout her life, touching the hearts of everyone she met.
Jackie is survived by her brother, Jeffrey (Sue); niece, Stacy; beloved aunt, Harriet “Harry” Durushia; and many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life for Jackie will take place at noon on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Wolf Creek United Methodist Church, 2417 East River Road, St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. Visitation one hour prior. Burial to follow at Wolf Creek Cemetery.
