Iver Joseph Kammerud was called home to his Lord and Savior on Oct. 10, 2026, at the age of 83.
Iver was born on Feb. 27, 1943, the fifth child of Ruby and Peter “Joe” Kammerud. Raised in Dresser, Wisconsin, he graduated from St. Croix Falls High School in 1961. He married his high school sweetheart, Jan Peterson, and together they shared 58 years of marriage and raised their four children in St. Croix Falls.
Iver spent his entire career in banking, starting at First National Bank while in high school, and eventually retiring from Eagle Valley Bank in 2003. Throughout his life, he faithfully served his community in numerous capacities, helping countless people and organizations.
Iver and Jan loved camping and traveling and cherished spending time with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Jan preceded him in death in 2019. Ultimately, our family finds peace and joy in knowing that he is in Heaven through his faith in Jesus Christ.
He will be dearly missed and is survived by his brother, John (June) Kammerud; his children, Jeff (Penny) Kammerud, Brian (Stephanie) Kammerud, Julie (Jeff) Larcom, and Beth (Jim) Parson-Stauner; his grandchildren, Chelsea (Thomas) Kovar, Kyle Kammerud, Alisen (Tyler) Howard, Jacob (Molly) Larcom, Joshua (McKenzie Breault) Larcom, Jessica (Isaac) Milkey, Evelyn Parson, and Connor Parson; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at Golden Age Manor and especially those at Judy’s Cottage.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Golden Age Manor Memory Care.
