SIREN – A 63-year-old Grantsburg man has pleaded guilty to a felony drug charge. A jury trial was slated to begin on Monday, June 2, for Michael Denn, however, he reached a plea deal ahead of time with prosecutors. In January, the Burnett County Sheriff’s Office received a tip that Denn allegedly conducted sales of methamphetamines at his home in the 21300 block of County Road M. Denn agreed to plead guilty to a charge of possess w/ intent - amphetamine/methamphetamine (>10-50 g). He is scheduled to return to court in Siren on Aug. 11 to be sentenced.
