CHETEK – Weather and conditions allowed the St. Croix Falls boys golf team to hit the Sioux Creek Golf Course on April 18.
In a matchup with Ladysmith, the Saints finished with a 193 but was still 25 strokes from a win in the nine-hole event.
Ladysmith’s Simon Cole led the field with a 38 and was followed by teammates Coltin Fenstermacher and Dane Prohaska, both finishing with a 43.
Trey Anderson and Noah Engquist each had a 45 and tied for fourth for the Saints; Cameron Brown tied for seventh with a 47 while Brandon Waak was ninth with a 56 and Evan Gudmunsen was 10th with a 58.
St. Croix Falls is scheduled for a meet at Rolling Oaks Golf Course today, one at Krooked Kreek on Thursday and another at Veterans Memorial Golf Course on Friday.
