Gerald (Jerry) Maurice Wyatt, 90, of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home at his son’s home in Palmer, Alaska on Oct. 18, 2024. He was born March 28, 1934 in St. Croix Falls, the oldest of three children to Maurice and Myrtle (Swanson) Wyatt. During his service in the U.S. Navy he met Virginia Rae Snyder in Hyattsville, Maryland, where they married. Virginia passed in August of 2021, after 65 years of marriage. Jerry and Virginia had three children, Maurice Paul, who passed at the age of six days in 1957, Wendy, born in 1960, and Eric, born in 1963. He is survived by daughter, Wendy Wyatt; grandson, Trevor Todd, and his wife Cristina; and great-grandson, Michael; son, Eric Wyatt, and daughter in-law, Chris Wyatt; granddaughters, Samantha and Danielle Wyatt; sister, Jean Rieke, and brother-in-law, Howard; brother, James Wyatt, and sister-in-law, Sue; sister-in-law, Kay Kleve; and nieces and nephews.

Jerry’s professional career included four years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, and 67 years in the insurance and financial consulting business.

He was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church of St. Croix Falls. Jerry was active in the American Legion Post 143 of St. Croix Falls for over 60 years.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and infant son.

The service for Jerry will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, at 3 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Immediately following will be a burial, with military honors, at the St. Croix cemetery, and a Celebration of Life at the Post 143 Legion Hall in St. Croix Falls at 5 p.m. He now lives in Heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ.
