LUCK - On Thursday, March 9, the Luck 7-12 bands, choirs and jazz ensemble presented a spring music concert in the middle of yet another snow in the area. The performance provided an uplifting break to the weather outside the doors of the school, featuring a variety of well-performed pieces such as “She’s Gone Away,” “Storm,” “Sahara Adventure,” “Fire Dance” and “Lunar Lullaby.” Directors included Mrs. Emily Frozene for the bands, and Ms. Jessica Meinders for the choirs, accompanied by Mrs. Sue Saarem. Students who participated in the solo and ensemble festival were congratulated and it was mentioned that all participants had received the highest marks of either a 1 or 2. The middle school and high school will be performing competitively on March 28 at Grantsburg. At this time the middle school choir is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. but other times are yet to be determined.
