Dennis Wayne Denver, age 83, of Trego, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on June 17, 2026, surrounded by his closest family and friends. He was born on Nov. 16, 1942, in Superior, Wisconsin.

Dennis lived most of his life in Polk County, Wisconsin, before moving to the Trego area about 20 years ago. He had ties to communities including Balsam Lake, Centuria, Luck and Amery. As a Vietnam Veteran, he served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1969. He later worked as a Local 49 Operating Engineer, operating heavy equipment throughout his career. He loved working outdoors, took pride in a well-groomed yard, and cherished fun times spent with friends and family. Dennis brought warmth and good humor to those around him.

He is survived by his sons, Shawn (Brittany) Denver and Cole (Katie) Denver; grandchildren, Shanell Mante, Tristan Denver, McKenzie Hubbell, Lukas Denver, and Logan Denver; great-grandchildren, Evelyn Mante, Everett Mante, Elijah Mante, and Remington Woodruff; and other loving family members.

Dennis was cremated and will be laid to rest at a private family service in Barnes Cemetery in Barnes, Wisconsin, alongside his mother, father, and siblings.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at the Milltown VFW on Friday, July 10, 2026, starting at 4 p.m. Please come and share a story and have a beer for Denny! In lieu of flowers, please join us at the celebration on July 10.
