It is with a heavy heart that we announce our mom, Connie Gray, passed in her sleep Aug. 8 at the age of 98 years, 11 months and 8 days. She had a full life through the Depression as a “Rosie the Riveter” in 1942 and married Eugene Gray on March 10, 1946.
She is survived by Susan Gray, the youngest daughter; Judith Shaw, the eldest daughter; Stephanie Janske, granddaughter; Dave Janske, grandson-in-law; and Tylor Shaw, great-grandson; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She had a great many friends who loved her and will miss her. She had worked at the sewing factory in St. Croix Falls and UFE in Dresser. She was a resident of St. Croix Falls for 74 years. There will be no service per her request.
