Charlotte Jean Rovney (Lumsden), age 91 of Luck, Wisconsin, passed away at her home on June 10, 2026, surrounded by her family. Charlotte was born on Jan. 24, 1935, at home in Eureka Township where she grew up and graduated from Manitou Lake School. She married William G. Rovney on Aug. 20, 1955, celebrating 64 years of marriage until Bill’s death in 2019. After marriage, Charlotte traveled with Bill during his military service from Arkansas, Maryland, D.C., and Germany. Upon Bill’s discharge from the United States Army, Charlotte and Bill moved to Mankato, Minnesota; from there, they moved and settled in Waseca, Minnesota. While living and raising family in Waseca, Charlotte worked for Bird’s Eye and E.F. Johnsons as an electric plating department supervisor until she retired in 1984. She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca and involved in Waseca County Snowmobile Club designing logo and display patches. Upon retirement, Charlotte and Bill moved to Luck to be closer to her family, where they lived until they passed away. Charlotte was involved with the Luck Lutheran Church and Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and sewing. Her real joy was watching her grandson, William A. Rovney, on his life journey.
