Charles "Charlie" D. Zeigler, 93, of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, passed away on April 30, 2023. Born on Aug. 17, 1929. Charlie was a beloved husband to Joan and a devoted father to Brian, Scott and Ron. He is also survived by his sister, Ardis.

Charlie was preceded in death by his sisters, Bernice and Jean.

Charlie was known for his vibrant personality and his love for storytelling. He had a unique ability to turn any situation into a funny anecdote, leaving those around him in stitches. He had a passion for sports and could always entertain others with his stories about the games he played and coached.

After graduating from St. Croix Falls High School, Charlie served in the Army for a couple of years, mostly playing football. He then embarked on a successful career at Whirlpool, where he dedicated most of his working years.

Charlie found solace and community in the Upper St. Croix Parish of the United Methodist Church, where he worshipped.

In his free time, Charlie enjoyed playing and coaching sports. His enthusiasm for athletics was contagious, and he touched the lives of many through his involvement in various sporting activities.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Aug. 25, at 11 a.m. at St. Croix United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that any charitable donations be made to St. Croix United Methodist Church.

Charlie will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His stories and laughter will forever echo in the hearts of his loved ones and friends.
