Carol Marie Bohn, 97, of Frederic, Wisconsin, passed away Christmas Day 2025 at Traditions of Frederic.
Carol was born Aug. 3, 1928, to Nels and Lillian Nelson. She grew up on the family farm in Clam Falls with her parents and sister, Janice. She attended school at Rocky Ridge, and graduated from Frederic High School. At age 12, Carol contracted polio, and the whole family was quarantined. In 1954 Carol married Dennis Bohn, and they had five children.
Carol loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed baking from her large collection of cookbooks, gardening, bowling, going to church, and spending time at the cabin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dennis; son, David; son-in-law, Kurt Hedlund; mother-in-law and father-in law, Hazel and Leroy Bohn; brothers-in-law, Roger Bronstad, Earl Hansen, and Gary Bohn; and sister-in-law, Susan Bohn.
She is survived by her children, Denise (Steven) Berg, Mike (Jo) Bohn, Mark (Rita) Bohn, and Mary Hedlund; sister, Janice Bronstad; sister-in-law, Wanell Hansen; brother-in-law, Allen (Wilma) Bohn; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers: James McCain, Kyle Hedlund, Michael Bohn, Tonya White, Lillian McCurdy, and AJ Peterson.
Honorary pallbearers: Aaron Hedlund, Jody Larson, Jason McCain, and Jessica McCain.

Funeral services will be held at Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church on Friday, Jan. 2, at 11 a.m., with a one-hour visitation prior to the service.
