CLEAR LAKE – Specialty Coating Systems, a certified family-friendly workplace, recently made a generous donation to Kinship of Polk County. This contribution is part of their ongoing commitment to supporting the local community and promoting family well-being.

“Specialty Coating Systems originated in Clear Lake, Wisconsin, and is now a thriving global organization. Our ongoing success is a direct result of the wonderful people who work here. We are dedicated to creating a workplace culture that not only empowers our team to succeed in their careers but also allows them to prioritize their families,” said Katie Ziegler, regional HR manager of Specialty Coating Systems. “We’ve had a long history of fundraising for local veteran offices and school programs and plan to expand our community volunteering initiatives in the upcoming year. Being recognized as a Family-Friendly Workplace is an honor, and we are proud to support Kinship of Polk County with our donation.”

As part of the Family-Friendly Workplace Certification Program, employers like Specialty Coating Systems make annual contributions to nonprofits that serve families. This marks their second consecutive year participating as a certified family-friendly employer.
