Ronald Norman Pagenkopf, 76, of Danbury, Wisconsin, passed away Friday, July 25, 2025. He was born on April 25, 1949, the son of Norman and Edna (Kirchhoff) Pagenkopf, in Caryville, Wisconsin, and when young moved to Cadott, Wisconsin. He attended Eau Claire Technical College for a machinist degree.

Ronald N. Pagenkopf married Mary Leis on Nov. 1, 1975, and lived in Cadott. In January 1982, he moved to Burnett County, Wisconsin, where he raised his children and worked at Horton/Nexen until his retirement in 2014. Ron was a gentle and loving husband and devoted father. An avid outdoorsman, Ron found joy in the tranquility of nature, often casting a line with family friends. He was deeply committed to helping others, always lending a hand in his church and to friends. Ron’s smile and warm spirit created memorable moments that will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Ann (Bob) Buckley, Sara (Alan) Kluge, Susan (Luke) Monahan and Joseph Pagenkopf; grandchildren, Crystal (Cory) Trogner, William Kluge, Elizabeth Kluge, Declan Monahan and Molly Monahan; great-granddaughter, Kinley Trogner; siblings, Coeta Peloquin, Mary (Jim) Tumm and Richard (Jackie) Pagenkopf. He is further survived by his beloved aunt, Betty Sarrett; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers- in-law, John “Chuck” Peloquin, Bernard “Nick” and Gerald “Jerry” Leis.

Funeral services were held Sunday Aug. 3, beginning 3 p.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Webster, Wisconsin, with Scott Peterson and Vicar Josh Henry officiating.
