Rolland C. Yunker, 91, of Centuria, Wisconsin passed away at his home on March 13, 2025. He was born on July 20, 1933. His parents, Marie (Springer-Yunker) Tourville and William Tourville, raised him in Balsam Lake, Wisconsin.
He was an avid welder for his entire career. He loved horses, hunting, fishing, camping, racing cars, and spending lots of quality time with his family. On Oct. 18, 1952, he married Louise Alfstead. They loved to dance and travel in their younger years.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Louise Yunker; daughters, Kathy Hyden and Debbie Slayton (Jerry); grandchildren, Bobbie Jo (Austin), Mark, Billy (Bobbi Jo), Tina, Harry and Ryan (Autumn); great-grandchildren, Joshua (Jessie), Anthony ( Taylor), Brandon, Austin, Ali (Dakota), Josie (Nate), Brandon (Ali), Colin, Neaveh, Adelle, Landon, Ella, Jenna, Greyson, Dakota, Hazel and Ashley; and 11 amazing great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson/adopted son, Neil Ellingworth.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 28, at Joy Lutheran Church in Centuria, Wisconsin, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. He will be laid to rest immediately after the service at St. John’s Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Ryan Hyden, Josh Kreft, Harry Ellingworth, Anthony Kreft, Joe Kreft, Mark Hackbarch and Billy Schultz. Please join the family at the church after the cemetery service for lunch and fellowship.
