Robert “Uncle Bobby” Lee Staples, 67, was called home to rest on April 11, 2023, in Webster, Wisconsin.
Robert was born on Feb. 23, 1956, to proud parents Joyce and Robert Staples.
Bob was a Webster High School graduate. He joined the Army in 1974, where he served in Germany until 1978. After his service to our country, Robert was a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in Webster for 30 years until his retirement.
Bob loved to travel and spend time with his family and card-playing family. He always made sure that his family had a fun, memorable experience of some sort. He enjoyed his turn hosting card day with his special friends, Linda, Nicki and Judy.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Joyce (Hills) and Robert Staples; cousin, Annette Harer; aunts; uncles; and grandparents.
Bob is survived by and will be missed by his brother, Dan (Sandy) Staples; sister, Rhonda (Staples) Bentley; nieces and nephews, Stacy, Meghan, Brent, Josiah and Miranda; as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews; and many friends.
A private funeral service will be held for family and close friends at a later date at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, Wisconsin.
