MILLTOWN – The Milltown VFW held their monthly Friday Fish Fry on Feb. 21, for an evening full of fish and good company. Starting at 4:30 p.m., a surplus of fish-loving guests filed in through the lower level of the VFW for a full $12 meal that included fish, two sides, a dinner roll and dessert. Happy hour at the VFW ran alongside this from 4-6 p.m., as dinner was served until 7 p.m. or until it was all gone. All run and operated by volunteers, this Friday Fish Fry takes place at least once a month, sometimes more. The next fish fry will take place the evening of March 21.
