Maylene Trudeau, age 75, of Amery, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, Feb. 10, 2025, at home surrounded by her family.
Maylene was born on Feb. 17, 1949, in Webster, Wisconsin, to Francis “Butch” and Aleene (McPheeters) O’Brien. She grew up in Webster, graduating from Webster High School in 1967. After high school, Maylene moved to St. Paul, Minnesota, where she began working at Univac and met Wallace Trudeau. Maylene and Wally were married in 1971 and later moved to Wisconsin where they raised their two children, Chad and Natalie. After moving to Wisconsin, Maylene started working at Dynatronix, where she continued working for over 30 years before retiring as a Production Supervisor.
During her free time, Maylene expressed her creativity with many artistic pursuits, such as drawing, painting, sculpting, and wood and leather burning. She was a master gardener and had a “glorious riot” of flower gardens. She also grew and canned vegetables for many years. Maylene enjoyed horseback riding, camping, hunting, archery, and was an avid reader.
Maylene was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ally and Frankie; and brother, Bill. She is survived by her husband, Wally; son, Chad; daughter, Natalie (Gary Johnson); granddaughter, Sera; grandson, Riley; siblings, Pat, Michelle, David and Matthew; and many other loving family and friends who will miss her fiery spirit.

A visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery.
