Lloyd Lester Larson, 84, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, at Solvay Hospice

House in Duluth, Minnesota. He was born Feb. 13, 1941 in Grantsburg, Wisconsin, to Lester and Myrtle (Ramsdell) Larson. The family moved to Superior, Wisconsin, where Lloyd graduated from Central High School, class of 1959. He went on to earn a machinist certification from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical Institute. He practiced his craft at Grayco in Minneapolis, Minnesota, then went to FMC in Fridley, Minnesota, as a manufacturing engineer.

Lloyd married Patricia Cieslicki on Aug. 1, 1964, in Superior, at St Anthony Catholic

Church. They celebrated 61 years together, raising their three children and enjoying time with their grandchildren. After retirement, Lloyd and Pat built a home in Webster, Wisconsin, on Yellow Lake, where they lived for over 20 years. For the past 30 years they spent winters in Mission, Texas.

Lloyd liked to hunt and fish and go to auctions. He enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Lloyd was known for spinning a good yarn or two, some of them even true, and for the jokes he loved to tell. He had a good singing voice and loved to dance.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sandra Lee; infant brother, Richard

Larson; granddaughter, Faith Rodberg; brothers-in-law, Kenny Cieslicki, Paul Fellbaum, and Art Pank; and sisters-in-law, Linda Cieslicki and Barbara Fellbaum.

Lloyd is survived by his wife, Pat Larson; children, Sharon (Mark) Noble, Jeanne (Bart)

Rodberg, Rich (Molly) Larson and Ruth (John) O’Brien; grandchildren, Miranda, Collin,

Madelyn, Reese, Aiden, Zander, Michael and Joseph; great-granddaughter, Arden;

brothers-in-law, Kenny Lee, Ron (JoAnne) Cieslicki and Steve Cieslicki; sisters-in-law,

Yvonne Pank and Francine Cieslicki; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Solvay Hospice House and Essentia Hospice for their care and attention to Lloyd during his time with them.
