LeRoy George Sierakowski, 76, of Balsam Lake, Wisconsin, passed away at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Friday, June 16, 2023. LeRoy was born on July 29, 1946, in St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of Carl and Josephine (Hook) Sierakowski.

LeRoy was born and raised in Minnesota. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Navy. LeRoy served in the United States Navy from June 1964 to July 1967.

In his younger years, he was very active playing baseball and hockey.

He married Judy Reed in 1970, and together they had two children, Troy and Tonya. He worked at Medical Incorporated, polishing heart valves. While working there, he moved to Wisconsin in 1998. He later married Norma L’Allier in 2001. In 2006, he went to work for Foremost Machine in Hugo, Minnesota, until he retired in 2008.

His love for the outdoors was evident in his hunting adventures. He enjoyed gun and bow hunting and took many trips out West elk hunting, also antelope and wild hog. He also loved fishing, and always found time to get out on the lake on a sunny summer day.

He loved attending his grandchildren’s school activities and sporting events and couldn’t help but coach from the stands.

His love for polka music will be carried forever with his memory. He will be missed by so many, as he always carried a smile and unlimited stories.

LeRoy leaves to celebrate his memory his wife, Norma Sierakowski of Balsam Lake; children, Troy Sierakowski of Stillwater, Minnesota, and Tonya Sierakowski of Stillwater; stepchildren, Amanda (Josh) Simenstad of Chisago City, Minnesota, and Joseph L’Alllier of Fox Creek, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Curtis, Lea, Tyler, Kash, Azalea, Piper, Ezra, Carter and Collin; and his brother, Raymond (Patti) Sierakowski of Webster, Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Josephine; son, Scott; and brothers, Rich and Chuck Sierakowski.

A Celebration of Life for LeRoy will be held Saturday, July 29, at the County Line Tavern, 3 220th Ave., Comstock, WI from 2-6 p.m.
