It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Joseph Wallner, age 74, of Centuria, Wisconsin.
John was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and cherished friend. John passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones on July 21, 2025.
John was born on March 23, 1951, in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the son of John P. Wallner and Helen M. Wallner, who have both preceded him in death.
John is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dorothy; children, John P. (Amanda) Wallner, Joseph D. (Jennifer) Wallner and Jeffrey A. Wallner; grandchildren, Breeanna (Matt) Plan, Rebecca, Jennifer, Madeline and John J. Wallner; great-grandson, Nova Plan; sisters, Mary Anne (David) Alhadeff, of Texas, and Cathy Duzynski, of Arizona; brother-in-law, Edward (Roxie) Duzynski of Arizona; and uncle, Jim (Ann) Wallner.
John’s spirit lives on through all the lives he touched and the memories he created by being kind, helpful and an all-around nice guy.
A private memorial is being planned for a future date, at his family’s request.
