Dalton Lewis Raymond, long-time resident of Webster, Wisconsin, departed this earth on Nov. 23, 2024, at the age of 94.
He was the only child of Arthur and Laura Raymond of Somerset, Wisconsin.
He is survived by three sons, James, John and Mike, from his first marriage, to Evelyn; and four stepchildren, from his second marriage, to Bonnie. He had many grandkids and relatives that will miss him very much!
The Raymond’s owned the “Bobcat Resort”, on Ham Lake during the 1970s, and were one of the founding families that started the “Wonderland Snow Trails” system.
Dalton, better known as “Dell” by friends, was a strong supporter of snowmobiling in the area, and devoted many hours to the cause. He was a RuppRider in the ‘70s, and a Yamaha fan all of his later years. Many family memories were made riding the trails in Northern Wisconsin!
A Celebration of His Life will be held on Saturday, May 10, at the 10th Hole Bar (the Yellow Lake Golf Course). There will be live music from 2-5 p.m., provided by his son Jim with his band, “Vintage Vibe”. This will be an outdoor event. Please just bring a lawn chair- no cards- and enjoy what Dell wanted- beer and music.
