Cory Richard Swenson, age 39, of Osceola, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at his home in Osceola.
Cory was born on Sept. 14, 1985, to Jody and Kathleen (Warner) Swenson, in Osceola. He attended St. Croix Falls High School and graduated Class of 2004. After high school, he furthered his education at Century College and graduated with a degree in dental assisting. Cory began his career as a dental assistant at Community Dental Care in St. Paul, Minnesota, and was currently employed at Veneman Dental Care in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.
Cory enjoyed playing video games, reading and music. He will be dearly missed by many.
Cory was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen (Warner) Swenson; and grandfather, Delmar Warner.
Cory is survived by his father, Jody Swenson; siblings, Nicholas Davidsavor, Branden (Pamela Martin) Warner, Beth (Derek) Teeselink and Samantha (T.J.) Vanasse; grandparents, Richard (Lois) Swenson and Roberta (Arthur) Behr; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 22, at the Grandstrand Funeral Home, Osceola. Arrangements are with the Grandstrand Funeral Home, Osceola. Condolences may be expressed online at grandstrandfh.com.
