Ellery Glenna, age 79, a resident of Grantsburg, Wisconsin, passed away at home on March 13, 2025. Ellery was born on Sept. 4, 1945 to Alvin and Helen (Cox) Glenna. Joining the U.S. Army in 1963, he was enlisted until 1966. Ellery met Lois McCurdy while the two were in high school. They went to prom together, and then spent 60 years together, married. Lois LaRayne Voss was born to Mildred and Roy Mattson on Jan. 5, 1927. She graduated from Milltown High School in 1944. Lois married Russ Voss on Sept. 14, 1946, and to this union three children were born: Cheryl, Erling, and Ronn. She was a tremendous cook and baker and loved having huge gatherings of relatives and friends. Another favorite part of her life were her flower gardens, especially red roses.
