Orla Mae (Matthews) Tesch, 89, of Frederic, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Jan. 7, 2025. She was born Sept. 2, 1935 to Clarence and Ora (Sunderman) Matthews. Janet was born on Aug. 6, 1946 in Stillwater, Minnesota, to parents Roy and Fayra Papenfuss. After graduating from Stillwater High School, she worked as a Trouble Locator for NSP, now Excel Energy Company. In 1985 she became the owner and operator of the Misty Pines Bar. Dave was born Feb. 20, 1967, to Lawrence and Darlene (Moulton) Pederson. Dave spent his childhood in Frederic, where his father Lawrence was the veterinarian.
