Lois LaRayne Voss was born to Mildred and Roy Mattson on Jan. 5, 1927. She graduated from Milltown High School in 1944. Lois married Russ Voss on Sept. 14, 1946, and to this union three children were born: Cheryl, Erling, and Ronn. She was a tremendous cook and baker and loved having huge gatherings of relatives and friends. Another favorite part of her life were her flower gardens, especially red roses.
