Mary Jane LaMere, age 81, a longtime resident of Osceola, Wisconsin, passed away surrounded by family Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. Mary was born August 3, 1943 to parents George and Evelyn (Geissler) Goulet in Tilden, Wisconsin. She attended high school in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin, and graduated with the class of 1961. Shortly after high school, she enrolled in beauty school in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and enjoyed working as a hair stylist throughout her whole working career.   Sherry Mckinney, age 68, of Frederic, Wisconsin, died Thursday April 10, 2025, at Regions Hospital with family and loved ones by her side. Sherry was born Oct. 22, 1956, to Richard and Doris Swager in St Paul, Minnesota. She grew up in Centuria, Wisconsin with her parents and five siblings. She graduated from Unity High School in 1974. She married David M. McKinney on April 13, 1985, and began their life together. In 1987 they moved to the McKinney farm where they spent the next 38 years!   Mary Huot-Schwietz, 98, passed away on Feb. 25, 2025, in Siren, Wisconsin, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born on March 26, 1926, in Hibbing, Minnesota, to Joseph Mehle and Julia Arlich. Mary wed Martin Huot in 1949 and they were married for 49 years. Together the couple raised seven children in their Bloomington, Minnesota home. Marilyn was born August 1, 1939 to parents Lynn and Melba (Erickson) Drinkwine in Falun, Wisconsin. Marilyn graduated from Osceola High School in 1957. She married Francis “Fats” McKenzie July 29, 1961 and to this union, they were blessed with four children. Marilyn worked at St. Croix Regional Medical Center and retired from there after 24 years.
