Lucille J. Nielsen was born and raised in Crystal Lake, Iowa. She married Gunnar A. Nielsen of Luck, Wisconsin in August, 1963.
A lifelong caregiver and friend to all. She will be remembered for her hospitality, her generosity and her outgoing fun spirit.
She is preceded in death by husband, Gunnar Nielsen; son, Kim Nielsen; parents, Lawrence and Gladys Siekmeier; and siblings, Violet, Geraldine and Norman.
She is survived by siblings, Gretchen Peck and Lawrence Siekmeier; children, Kara, Mary and Steven (Joie); and grandchildren, Tanner (Ali Metcalf), Olivia Strang (Logan), George and Ruby.
Lucy, 90, passed away in the early morning hours on Dec. 3, 2024, of natural causes. She will be sadly missed and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
A Celebration of Lucille’s Life will take place at Rowe Funeral Home (206 2nd Ave E., Luck, Wisconsin 54853) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27.
