Marilyn Muriel Olson, 97, of Taylors Falls, Minnesota, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Monday, May 15, 2023, at St. Croix Regional Medical Center, St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.
Marilyn was born on Jan. 28, 1926, to Elmer and Amy (Erickson) Stenberg in Isanti, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Paul Olson on July 1, 1944. This marriage was blessed with four children. Paul and Marilyn resided on the family farm for 75 years before she moved to Evergreen senior living in Osceola.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Julie (James) Anderson and Gary (Maggie) Olson; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Amy; husband, Paul; daughter, Debra K.; son, Brian; and brothers and sisters.
A private family interment will be held at the Kahbakong Cemetery in Taylors Falls. Arrangements are with the Grandstrand Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed online at grandstrandfh.com.
