Patrick Duffy Gibbons, 69, passed away, surrounded by family, on April 13, 2023, at his home in Dresser, Wisconsin.
Duffy was born to Dan and Dee (Anderson) Gibbons on March 10, 1954. He had a happy childhood growing up in Como Park with seven brothers and sisters, Mike, Danny, Tim (Sky Lyn), Colleen (Carol), Brigid (Dwayne), Kelly (Jo) and Andy. At 17 he met his best friend, Sally Schwanker, the girl who would be by his side for the next 52 years. Together they had two daughters, Shannon (Brandon) and Maggie (John); and four grandchildren, Quinn, Cassidy, Conner and Kyler. Throughout his life sign manufacturing was his passion and he successfully ran Duco Sign for over 40 years. He always looked on the bright side of life and was adored by his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 22, from 1-5 p.m., with eulogy and a time for sharing at 4 p.m., at American Legion Post 143 in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.
